–Friday looks lovely, sunny, highs in the low to mid 70s, northwest breeze, lows in the mid to upper 40s, clear
–High pressure dives southeast to the southern Mid-Atlantic through the weekend
–This produces a mostly sunny day Saturday with highs in the mid to upper 70s and lows in the low 50s

–Expect a partly sunny day with highs in the mid 70s to low 80s and lows in the 50s
–Monday through Wednesday gets a touch more humid, with mostly sunny skies expected and highs in the low to mid 80s as the Bermuda high sets up to our south (lows in the mid/upr 50s)

YOUR MORNING DISCUSSION
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Good morning everybody, we’ve got a true rainstorm out there this morning, but a small one at that, so the precip should be wrapping up by later morning into very early afternoon from west to east.
Crops, plants and lawns will happily soak up this quarter of an inch to an inch of rainfall, and will use it well given that we don’t have any widespread rainfall in the queue until mid to late next week.
Our storm is tracking east along the south coast and will head out to sea, pulling the rain shield with it, and then drier and cooler air behind it late today with some sunshine that will break out before sunset.
We can’t rule out a rogue shower in the later afternoon, and The Coolening will commence tonight with lows in the 40-45º range. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a few upper 30s readings in SVT! Chilly morning tomorrow for the last day of May!
Despite a low risk of some showers south of the Pike Sunday, and a couple of diurnal/instability showers Monday or Tuesday afternoon, we’re generally going to be under the influence of strong high pressure with partly to mostly sunny skies during the Friday through Tuesday period.
Little adjustments will need to be made as we close in on our near future days, but overall we’ve got a sweet stretch of mostly dry and mostly sunny and warm weather coming up, with humidity levels that won’t be obscene.
>>> BE KIND <<<
“Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you’ve got a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies: Goddamn it, you’ve got to be kind.”
–Kurt Vonnegut
