YOUR WEEKLY WEATHER NUTSHELL
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
–Patchy fog will dissipate later this morning, with a mostly cloudy start to the day
–Our wave that brought between a tenth to a third of an inch of rainfall last night
–Thankfully, that tamped down from what looked like up to an inch of potential rain a number of days ago
–For today, upper ridging (i.e. higher than average pressures aloft) builds in from the west
–This should allow partly sunny skies to develop later, and push our temps up into the 65-70º range
–Lows tonight will dip into the upper 40s under partly cloudy skies
–Thursday will feature a warmer day, with highs in the low to mid 70s under partly sunny skies as a wave dives southeast through Maine, possibly keeping eastern parts of CMass in the low 60s with a shower possible there
–Friday looks dry, lovely, highs in the 60s, partly sunny, light east wind with lows in the mid 40s with a shower possible
–Saturday should see clouds increase as east wind veers to southeast and coincides with an incoming frontal boundary for Sunday
–Highs will reach the low to mid 60s
–Some showers are possible late on Saturday, but the best chance for rain will be Saturday night into Sunday, which looks quite cool as onshore flow strengthens
–Highs likely only reach the 50s on Sunday, with lows in the 40s
–What comes down most go back up, as early next looks to feature high pressure, much more in the way of sunshine and highs in the upper 60s to mid 70s as Spring surges keep on comin’!
YOUR MORNING DISCUSSION
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Good morning folks, the Nutshell above will again cover our generally no-big-whoop weather pattern. There just isn’t that much to discuss in terms of passing weak waves, ridges, fronts, and pressure changes.

The overall look is that we’ll have a very mild finish to the week, and an increasingly warm start to the next one.

In between, we’ll be dealing with more substantial rainfall Saturday night into Sunday and much cooler temperatures due to a brief onshore flow setup, but even with that system it looks like perhaps we could see another third to three-quarters of an inch of rainfall, which ain’t too tough to take after some of the early season deluges we’ve dealt with.

It’s New England, and soon enough the atmospheric tide will turn to more impactful and severe weather, so for now, let’s enjoy the comparative quietude while we’ve got it.

Have a great day!

>>> BE KIND <<<
“Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you’ve got a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies: Goddamn it, you’ve got to be kind.”
–Kurt Vonnegut
