SUMMARY
–Good morning folks!
–Calendar Customers: To the kind patrons that ordered 2019 calendars from me — they are all at the post office and entering the mail stream as of today!
–If you didn’t order and want some, I have some extras so if you want calendars, just message me privately
–As for our weather, we’ve got another cold and fair day on the way with light winds, ample sunshine and cold temps
–As an aside, I did notice that the CT River, while not high, is not very low either
–This makes me realize that some of the groundwater we received before this dry spell is probably just frozen in place near the ground’s surface
–Hopefully the rain this weekend isn’t too plentiful, and we get a number of non-rain days with milder temps so groundwater can seep down deeper
–Anyway, it will be cold tonight, and some cloudiness is expected as a weak system passes to our north
–We can’t rule out a few snow showers, but we will probably all just stay dry
–For Wednesday and Thursday, a final shot of cold air comes into the region behind the departing weak low pressure system before our pattern changes
–Expect highs in the upper 20s to low 30s both days with plenty of sunshine, and lows in the teens
–By Friday, the Pacific zonal flow pushes into and through New England, raising temps into the 40s for highs
–We start with some sun Friday, but should cloud up, and then see rain showers move in by the evening
–It is still uncertain how much rain will fall from this system, but it should last into at least part of Saturday when highs will approach 50 degrees
–Sunday will be cooler, and showers are still possible
–Early next week looks briefly colder and fair, before more mild air works back into the region through the week
Have a great day!
