Western Mass Weather for December 7, 2018

DRY, COLD, FAIR, PASS THE POTATOES…
Good morning everybody, not much to talk about, which is a welcome change as I’m knee deep in packing calendars and getting ready to ship them to those that ordered. I do have a few extras, so message me if you are interested. (6:15am Fri)

As for our current weather, the storm track is suppressed to our south as cold air lasts into the middle of next week, by which time a mildening will take place, with some more rain possible during the following weekend.

For now, here are your dailies:

FRIDAY
–Mostly sunny skies
–Highs in the upper 20s to low 30s with westerly to northwesterly wind gusts to 30mph in the low terrain, and possibly higher in the high terrain
–Wind chills may be down in the single digits over the Berkshires, western hilltowns, and southern Greens
–Lows tonight will plummet into the single digits with breezy conditions

SATURDAY
–Mostly sunny skies
–Highs in the 20s with light northwest breeze
–Lows will be in the teens

SUNDAY
–Mostly sunny skies
–Highs in the upper 20s to mid 30s with light northwest breeze
–Lows will be in the teens

MONDAY
–Mostly sunny skies
–Highs in the low to mid 30s
–Lows will be in the 20s

Fair weather will continue into much of the rest of next week as we get back into the 40s before week’s end.

If you’ve been clamoring for a dry, sunnier stretch, your prayers have been answered.

Have a great day!
