–Tuesday looks much nicer, with less wind (though gusts may still kick to 20-30mph and continue to slacken into the night)
–Expect mostly sunny skies and highs in the mid 40s to mid 50s from north to south, with lows in the low to mid 30s
–With high pressure building to our south, Wednesday and Thursday are the picks of the week with partly sunny skies and highs in the mid 50s to low 60s both day and lows near 40º
–A spot shower is possible Wednesday, but shouldn’t be a big deal
–We cloud up Thursday night, and watch a warm front get hung up near New England, with areas of low pressure tracking west to east along it, bringing periods of showers into the weekend
–Please stay tuned for updates as I need to get that period sorted out

YOUR MORNING DISCUSSION
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Good morning everybody, I received a report of 4″ of new snow since later yesterday afternoon to this morning from Elizabeth in Williamstown, MA.
How much snow did you see overnight if you live out in the Berkshires, Taconics, Litchfields or SVT?
Other areas were not expected to receive any accumulation beyond some scattered coatings.
Any snow showers ongoing this morning out that way will wind down by noon or so, but additional coatings to an inch or two is possible, and Winter Storm Warnings in SVT and the Winter Weather Advisory expires this morning.
The main story today is thee gusty northwest winds up to 30-50mph which is why Wind Advisories have been hoisted through today and tonight into very early Tuesday morning as the pressure gradient squeezes overhead between our weekend low northeast of us, and stronger high pressure to our southwest.
Highs will only be in the mid 30s to mid 40s from north to south, and skies will be mostly cloudy with a few sunny breaks.
Wind chills will dip into the 20s, and even upper teens at times at elevation, with isolated outages possible.
Blustery conditions continue tonight with lows in the mid 20s to low 30s under clearing skies, so we’re in a late-season wintry 24 hours from this morning to Tuesday morning which means #BundleUp .
Tuesday through Thursday feature high pressure building into our region from the south, which means warmer temps will drive into the region along with partly to mostly sunny skies (Tuesday should be the sunniest of the 3 days).
Highs climb into the 50s on Tuesday with lows in the mid 30s, and up into the 50s to low 60s for Wednesday and Thursday with lows near 40º both nights.
By Thursday night into the weekend, a frontal boundary and series of disturbances will interact over New England to produce periods of rain showers with highs in the 50s, but timing and duration is stll quite murky, so check back with me!
Have a great day, and if my work helps you, please help keep it going throughout 2024… it’s your support that keeps me on this job for you and yours (options include Cards, PayPal, Venmo, or Check, thank you!)
>>> BE KIND <<<
“Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you’ve got a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies: Goddamn it, you’ve got to be kind.”
–Kurt Vonnegut
