–A cold front swings through at night with lows in the 30s, and highs only in the mid to upper 40s on Wednesday

>>> MORNING DISCUSSION <<<
Good morning everybody, our snoozy weather pattern is good news for many of us after a busy summer, and some recent seesaw weather that included tons of weekend rain for months, so we’ll take the snoozy-ness!

A few spritzes of rain have passed through overnight, most recently in northern CT, but we should be dry going forward with highs well into the 50s today under partly sunny skies, with chilly lows near freezing, so bundle up on the way out your door tomorrow morn!

Monday is a bit cooler with highs in the low 50s under partly sunny skies as high pressure moves through the region, preceding a southern Canadian storm that will remain north of New England, tracking east.

As it does so, it will drag a frontal boundary through Monday night. With lows in the low 40s, we’ll see some rain showers swing through into Tuesday morning, mostly north of the Pike.

Tuesday is the mildest day since our final summah taste, and highs should crest into the low to mid 60s under mostly sunny skies, so be sure to get outside Tuesday!

A cold front swings through thereafter and drops temps into the 30s Tuesday night, and hangs our highs only in the mid to upper 40s for Wednesday, so it will be much cooler compared to Tuesday.

This sets us up for a cold Wednesday night ahead of a warm frontal passage. With lows dropping into the low to mid 30s, and showers arriving overnight, some of us should see a period of snow or sleet into the very early hours of Thursday morning before those showers change to rain as the morning wears on.

Some coatings are possible in the high terrain, and I will keep you updated, not that that system will be a big deal – it won’t.

Thursday afternoon should start to dry out with highs near 50º, and then on Friday another system could slide south of us, bringing some showers Friday afternoon and evening mainly south of the Pike before drying out, and hopefully delivering us another dry weekend – possibly two in a row! Miracle of miracles!

Have a great day!

>>> BE KIND <<<
“Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you’ve got a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies: Goddamn it, you’ve got to be kind.”
–Kurt Vonnegut
