YOUR MORNING DISCUSSION
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Good morning everybody, to start off… because it’s going to be sunny and warm for the next few days, I am probably going to take tomorrow and Friday off as I have some personal stuff to attend to, and the weather is going to be warm and stable.
As far as our outlook goes, we have arrived at the top of a 4-day fair weather stretch that will last through Saturday with increasingly warm temps, and plenty of sunshine.
Today will be a bit breezy out of the southwest and could feature some more afternoon clouds compared to the following three days, with highs in the mid 60s to low 70s today, but rising into the low to mid 70s tomorrow and Friday, and the upper 70s by Saturday!
Lows will be in the upper 40s to mid 50s tonight, and firmly in the 50s Thursday through Saturday nights.
This is all thanks to strong high pressure to our south and a large upper level ridge in the eastern U.S. allowing for sinking air (which is a drying and warming air) and calm conditions.
By Sunday, a cold front will be approaching the region, and clouds will increase, so Saturday is BY FAR the pick of the weekend!
Highs on Sunday will only reach the mid to upper 50s to mid 60s as we start to cool down, and scattered showers are likely by afternoon or as late as the evening.
Sunday night looks showery and cool, and this lasts into Monday with even cooler temps with 50s for highs and 30s for lows.
There may be some lingering moisture behind the cold front to produce a few snowflakes in the high terrain Monday night, and there continues to be ghosty signals of potential snow or mixed snow and rain for the high terrain by mid to late next week if a coastal storm kicks up off of the southeast coast after the front passes through.
With highs only in the 40s Tuesday and Wednesday, lows may drop to the upper 20s to mid 30s, which could produce widespread frost and even a hard freeze for some, along with that potential for nighttime snow in the higher elevations!
Like I said, before things get busier as we enter November and the deepening cold season, I may take a couple days tomorrow and the next and be back Saturday morning.
You already know it’s gonna be sunny and warm Thursday through Saturday, and mild at night with no rain, so I think you’re covered, weather-wise!
Have a great day!
>>> BE KIND <<<
“Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you’ve got a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies: Goddamn it, you’ve got to be kind.”
–Kurt Vonnegut
