DHTWN REMINDER:
There’s a lot of to be distraught about these days, but life goes on, keeps moving, flowing, and willing itself onward. We’re a manifestation and part of that life force, but it goes way beyond us, and we’re lucky to be a part of it. Even if things aren’t going well, there’s always a chance things might improve. If you’re struggling, I hope things go better for you today, and stay open to the chance that they will – they just might.

MORNING DISCUSSION
Good morning folks, we have a little wave of showers moving through this morning which appears to be the remnants of some overnight activity far to our northwest.

These will clear the region by mid morning or so, and we should see mostly sunny skies develop behind this activity, which will help our temps soar later into the low to mid 80s for lowlander/valley folks, and 75-80º in the high terrain of far northwest MA, SVT and SWNH.

We should be done with the Canadian wildfire smoke for the time being, by the way.

Light southwest wind veers to west tonight and northwest tomorrow, and lows under partly cloudy skies will hang in the 50s.

A cold front moves through early Saturday morning, and that could bring a few other showers as well, but mostly south of the Pike before we again clear things out for the afternoon, which looks mostly sunny and with highs in the mid 70s to low 80s.

Cooler air really settles in Saturday night with lows in the mid 30s to low 40s, and by Mother’s Day Sunday, we will be noticeably cooler with highs only in the 60s under mostly sunny skies – perfect for any travel and Mother’s Day events! Lows will drop into the upper 30s to low 40s.

For next week, more seasonable and fair weather is expected as this lovely Spring rolls on.

While there is a chance for some showers by mid-week, right now it just looks like more partly to mostly sunny skies with highs in the 60s to low 70s.

We do have to watch an upper level trough that may swipe us by mid-week, dropping south out of southeast Canada. If this doesn’t generate showers for us, what it could do is produce another late-season frost late Wednesday night into early Thursday morning, so heads up #PlantPeople!

I hope you have a great day and that things go your way!

BE KIND
“Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you’ve got a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies: Goddamn it, you’ve got to be kind.”
–Kurt Vonnegut
