Good morning everybody, life is looking good in the Weather Department as we are developing a more prolonged Spring pattern with no rush into Summer despite our mid-April Heat Blip and subsequent late-April to early-May Cool Swipe.
Lots of 60s and 70s as far as the eye can see (for now) with plenty of sunshine and only a couple of shower expectations (late tonight, and again next weekend), but before we jump into the weather and daily details below, let’s check a note from our new weekend sponsor, #RedFireFarm located in Granby, MA.

YOU’RE SAILING THROUGH A GALAXY WITH A COMPANION STAR THAT’LL LOVE YOU WITH WARMTH, YAY!
–If a rogue wave of low pressure was going to dive southeast along a warm frontal boundary during a desperately-needed warm stretch, tonight’s couldn’t come at a better time!
–Before that, we’ve got a lovely day ahead with sunshine, highs in the upper 60s to mid 70s, with some upper 70s possible in southern valley locations, enjoy!
–Clouds creep in tonight, as an atmospheric bowling ball rolls southeast through southeast NY and southwest CT, where steadiest rains will fall
–Still, we’ll see a period of showers move through, with less rain northeast and more southwest, roughly a tenth to third of an inch across the greater WMass region (see attached chart)
–The timing will be about Midnight to 6am with lows in the upper 40s to low 50s
–Clouds and showers quickly vamoose early Monday morning, and a sunny day will develop on the heels of that system with highs in the upper 60s to mid 70s with lows either side of 40º
–We’ll cool down a bit on Tuesday and Wednesday with partly to mostly sunny skies and highs in the 60s with lows near 40º
–Then we’re soaring back into the 70s for Thursday through Saturday with mostly sunny skies, and lows in the 40s
–By next Sunday we could see a frontal system bring some more showers with a cool down into the 60s by early next week
In other words, life is good in the Cosmos this week, so outdoor plans and activities are all a go!
Have a great day!
BE KIND
“Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you’ve got a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies: Goddamn it, you’ve got to be kind.”
–Kurt Vonnegut
