MORNING DISCUSSION
Good morning everybody, there isn’t much to discuss weather-wise other than what’s included in the Weekly Nutshell and Terrestrial / Zone Forecasts above.

We do have to watch for areas of patchy dense fog this morning in terms of visibility changes when traveling.

That should lift by mid to late morning, revealing a mostly cloudy day. and that sky cover should last through much of tonight.

With low pressure far northwest of us, and stronger high pressure far to our south, the pressure gradient will be a bit lax so southerly to southwesterly wind should be lighter ahead of the cold front today, but southwest flow will be established just the same, helping temps to rise into the 60s and 70s, and some areas may even soar into the upper 70s.

A few isolated morning showers are possible, but most shower activity for today should hold off until mid to late afternoon into the evening, and a few non-severe thunderstorms are possible.

Any activity clears out of here before midnight, and skies will break up late with lows in the upper 30s to low 40s as northwest winds pick up.

Tomorrow will be sunny and a bit blustery with gusts 25-40mph expected with highs mostly in the 50s with some upper 40s in SVT/SWNH.

It’ll be chilly Friday night with lows in the mid 20s to low 30s, but wind will be slackening with time, and should be followed by a cool, sunny, and tranquil weekend with highs in the mid to upper 40s Saturday, and low to mid 50s on Sunday with lows in the 20s to low 30s.

Then next week we’ll see high pressure setting up in the western Atlantic to our south-southwest which will pump the warmth into the region, with tons of sunshine!

Highs will be either side of 60º on Monday, but then well into the 60s Tuesday and then upper 60s to mid 70s by mid week!

We should then soar into the mid to upper 70s late week… does someone hit 80º? It’s possible by Friday!

One thing is for sure, and that is that a major pattern shift to Spring is underway behind tonight’s cold frontal passage!

Have a great day!

BE KIND
“Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you’ve got a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies: Goddamn it, you’ve got to be kind.”
–Kurt Vonnegut
