MORNING DISCUSSION
Good morning everybody, we’ve got our Full Cold Moon rising this late afternoon, but it’s likely until after midnight that we’ll be able to get a glorious glimpse of such lunar luminosity, so be sure to look northwest before the dawn!

For today, the bulk of our rain is exiting to the northeast, and some of us got over an inch of rainfall since yesterday, so despite the U.S. Drought Monitor showing a moderate drought in Franklin County, I frankly think it could be renamed the U.S. Drunk Monitor because we appear to be getting plenty of rainfall through the region week to week and month to month at this point, but I’m no Hydrologist.

As for the rest of the day, scattered showers could fall at any point, though I think the rest of the morning trends mostly dry, with showers holding off until mid-day or afternoon before we ship the rain east and out of here for now.

Highs will be mild and well into the 50s, with some upper 50s in the northern CT!

The front moves through overnight, and skies will clear out late with lows in the upper 30s to low 40s.

Temps won’t rise a ton tomorrow (just like they won’t rise a ton today), and should crest into the mid to upper 40s on Thursday with partly sunny skies and northwest winds gusting 15-20mph at times.

Lows will be cold, dipping down into the mid to upper 20s with sunny Friday highs in the low 40s, and with similar lows to Thursday’s.

This is due to a powerful high pressure system to our north sinking south into New England, which will act as a shunt to a Nova Scotian coastal low, and another Great Lakes system, pushing them both south and keeping them mostly at bay from wettening or whitening our regional planetary surface, because remember, we’re in Space and the “sky” is another name for the Cosmos.

This will generate easterly / onshore flow that will increase clouds and could introduce some drizzle or a few spitty showers here and there, with highs in the upper 30s, so it will be chilly. Lows will be near freezing.

On Sunday, we’ll still be cold, but will be watching another system to our northwest that depending on the high’s position, could slide in and give us some light snow late Sunday into Monday, so stay tuned for updates.

Temps looks chilly early next week and weather returns to “fair” status later Monday into Tuesday, but there are more stormy signals for mid to latter week, and temps look to rise a bit, so no big cold shots on the way at the moment that I can see.

Have a great day and if you missed the order deadline, I still have 2023 weather calendars at the link below, I won’t be doing one next year, so get ’em while you can!

AND REMEMBER…
“Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you’ve got a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies: Goddamn it, you’ve got to be kind.”
