–Sunday is the pick of the week, sunnier, cool, less wind at this point
–Monday looks similar to Sunday but a bit milder, still cool
–More showers arrive the third cold frontal passage in a week

MORNING DISCUSSION
Good morning everybody, as The Kinks crooned, now we’re back, where we started… here we go ’round again! Day after day (we) get up and (we) say, come on and do it again! Do it again! Do it agaaaiiinnnn!!! *insert noodly guitar lick here over cool rock beat*

If you’re a Kinks fan, that’s a fun earworm for the day, and if you’re not, you think I’m a weirdo, but you probably already think that anyway, so no harm done!

As for our weather, we’ve got a lovely end to the week with high pressure shifting south of us and bringing mostly sunny skies with some high clouds and highs in the low to mid 40s with a light southerly wind.

For this early evening, it will dry and feature light wind, so temps drop pretty quickly into the low to mid 30s, but shouldn’t go much below that before southerly flow increases ahead of a storm passing, once again, to our northwest.

This means saids southerly flow and increasing clouds will be causing temps to RISE by or after midnight, and we should be into the upper 30s to 40s by dawn tomorrow morning.

Saturday will feature overcast skies, and while a few showers are possible in the early to mid morning timeframe, it is the late morning into early afternoon when the bulk of the rain arrives.

This will not last long, but a wet afternoon is forecast, and southerly winds should gust 25-40mph at times as the pressure gradient increases, and our cold front approaches from the west.

Highs will be quite mild, reaching the low to mid 50s. Our cold front passes by early evening, and we may see a few lake effect snow showers in the Berkshires, with lows dropping into the upper 20s.

Sunday and Monday look lovely, but seasonably cold with highs int the mid 30s to low 40s Sunday, and low to mid 40s Monday with lows in the 20s both nights under mostly clear skies Sunday night and increasing clouds Monday night.

By Tuesday, another storm passes north of us, and spreads more pre-frontal showers into the region with highs either side of 50º – mild temps that will last into Wednesday as well.

We’ll exist in this mild sector for those two days, and then a sharper cold front comes through Wednesday with a few more showers and much colder temps by late week, down into the 30s.

Thereafter, we watch the 2nd week and 3rd week of December to see if building cold meets up with favorable storm tracks to produce snow or ice in our region…. stay tuned!

Have a great day, and if you’re a fan of my work, you can support it while gearing up for the incoming cold season or get holiday gifts via my Apparel Sale with 2 new designs on wicked cozy hoodies, sweatshirts, long-sleeves to be comfy this winter (tee shirts and vee necks, too). AND REMEMBER…
“Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you’ve got a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies: Goddamn it, you’ve got to be kind.”
