Good morning everybody, you know, it’s been a long, long, LONG time since The Bulletization Mobile(TM) stopped by my window, but it’s out there with its high beams on, honking the crap out of its horn, revving its engine needlessly in a hopeless display of machismo, but nonetheless, I will acquiesce to its testosterone-laden demands, and engage in a fit of double-dashery the likes of which may never be seen again. Onward!!

SUMMARY
–Some steadier rains still exist over northeast CT and southern CMass, with showers and drizzle in other parts of the WMass region
–We got generally a quarter-inch or under in WMass, but some folks in northern CT received over half an inch of rainfall over the past 24 hours, as you can see in the attached rain accumulation graphic

–We are mild this morning, temps in the 50s and even some 60s, but that is going buh-bye in short order
–In the attached graphic, you can see that our cold front is moving into eastern NY with temps in the 30s and 40s behind it, and so we can expect our high temps to crest this morning, with a wave of cooler air spreading in behind for the afternoon, with decreasing temps later today and tonight
–Any showers or drizzle should end by noon or so as well, with mostly cloudy skies expected.
–Lows tonight will crash to the low to mid 30s with a light north to northwest wind
–For Friday, another wave of low pressure traverses a slowing/stalled cold front to our south, and brings another round of showers by mid/late morning into the afternoon
–Highs will only be in the low to mid 40s, very raw feeling, so bundle accordingly
–Lows Friday night as showers abate will be down into the low to mid 30s
–Saturday is the weekend pick with high pressure building through with brevity. Mostly sunny skies will accompany highs in the low to upper 40s, and low temps will drop into the upper 20s to near 30º.

–Sunday starts off nice enough, partly sunny early, but clouds quickly coalesce overhead (where else would they coalesce, Hayes?!) and rainfall will develop in the afternoon and last through the overnight hours as a strong storm passes well northwest of us, and sends its southward-draping cold front through our region
–Highs Sunday will be in the low to mid 50s with lows either side of 40º as the soup pots simmer away
–Monday is cool but fair to start the day, with highs in the upper 40s to low 50s
–However, the lake effect snow machine will kick on by afternoon with strong northwesterly fetch, and so the Taconics and Berkshires and surrounding highlands in NW CT and SVT and even our western hilltowns can expect some scattered snow showers by Monday night into Tuesday morning
–Tuesday and Wednesday look COLD, with highs near 40º on Tuesday and only in the 30s by Wednesday!
–We moderate back up into the 40s to low 50s by late week with fair weather through the Tuesday afternoon to Friday period

Have a great day!
