Good morning everybody, weather keeps on weathering, which results in blabbering continuing to blabber my mouth… or more accurately results in an incessant and abundance of peck, peck, pecking sounds emanating from my computer. Therefore, let us dispense with the small-talkery, and get down to business this morn!
SUMMARY
–Plenty of clouds around for the WMass region today, though some sunny breaks will manifest
–This will actually tamp temps downward compared to yesterday, but humidity will be increasing, so it will actually be more uncomfortable, especially second half of the day
–Highs will reach the 75-80º range with dew points in the mid 60s later on
–A few sprinkles or showers are possible today and tonight, but many will be dry for much of the day
–Lows tonight will hover somewhere in the mid 60s. A few showers are possible, as will be patchy fog late
–For Friday, the humidity maximizes with dewpoints reaching into the mid to upper 60s, and possibly near 70 degrees!
–These dewpoints combined with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s will produce a saturated lower atmosphere
–Southerly winds will gust up to 20mph at times, and we can expect scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening, and some may become strong with hail and downpours, especially over the Berkshires and surrounding high terrain in NY, CT and VT
–Lows tomorrow night will be in the low to mid 60s with continued shower activity possible, and maybe a thunderstorm
–Our cold front swings through the region by mid day or so on Saturday, so the morning looks showery and cloudy, with some clearing and drying late in the day
–Highs will reach well into the 70s with a humid morning, and drier evening, with lows int he 50s under partly cloudy skies
–Sunday is the pick of the weekend for sure, with sunny skies, high pressure, and highs in the 65-70 range, with lows in the 40s
–Monday is the coolest of the upcoming 7 days, with highs only in the 60s and lows near 40 with more dry and sunny weather expected
–The rest of next week looks very pleasant and dry, except for Wednesday when showers are possible as a system dives southeast out of Canada into New England
–Still, it’s a northwesterly flow next week, which tends to be cooler and drier
Have a great day!
