Good morning everybody, what was a standard breezy Fall rainstorm for us here in the WMass region raged as a once-in-thirty year storm for far southeast MA with over 300000 outages still reported as of this morning after winds gusted over 100mph in places.

We do have another rainstorm on the way to start our weekend, but before we jump into the details below, please check out a note from our local and delicious sponsor, #TandemBagelCo

SUMMARY:
Now, before I list things out below, I have to apologize for any typos, as I am quite literally getting a migraine as I type this, and for those of you that get them, you know the aura that come with them, so my eyesight is not good right now, so please forgive me.

–For today, we’ll have some clouds earlier, but should see a partly to mostly sunny day develop as high pressure continues to nudge into the region
–Highs should reach the low to mid 50s with a light north to northeast wind
–Winds will go calm tonight, and with clear skies and dry conditions, we’ll max out radiational cooling with lows dropping into the low to mid 30s, so frost will form in spots
–For Friday, the first half of the day or so will be nice, with mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 40s to mid 50s, and we may get a good bit of the day in with plenty of sunshine
–The storm that ripped through the west coast the other day, and that also spawned a tornado yesterday in TX that flung trees and cars like they were feathers, will track west of us, drawing moist southerly flow northward into New England by Friday night
–This will induce showers to fill in over the region after midnight, and by Saturday morning it should be quite showery in the WMass region
–Lows will be in the upper 30s to mid 40s
–For Saturday, expect rain in varying intensities throughout the day and night, sometimes heavy, sometimes light, sometimes a break, etc.
–Highs will be in the 50s, and showers will last through the night and into Sunday morning
–A total of an additional 1-3″ is expected, so we have another ample rainstorm on the way
–Morning Sunday showers should give way to drying by trick-or-treat time
–Highs on Sunday will be in the upper 50s to low 60s, with lows in the 40s
–A cold front works back through the region, and brings our highs back into the 50s for the first half of the week which looks to include fair weather, until at least mid-week when a few showers are possible Wednesday night
–Beyond that, we keep seeing signals for a bigger storm around November 5 or 6, and I’d be lying if I said there was no potential for snow or wintry precipitation with this system
–Stay tuned for updates, have a great day, consider my 2022 calendar as holiday gifts this year, I’m off to lie down…
