Western Mass Weather for November 5, 2018

UP-AND-OUT-THE-DOOR-CAST (5:40am Mon)
Good morning everybody, bulletization is the latest craze. In fact, everybody’s doing it, including me, go figure!

–A few isolated rain showers are possible this morning, maybe mixed with snow in the high peaks, but generally we’re dry until late AM
–Heavier and more widespread showers move in by the early afternoon and last off/on through the evening
–Highs will only be in the mid 40s to upper 40s from the high terrain to low terrain, as well as north to south (i.e. SVT to NCT)
–Patchy fog is possible tonight, along with periods of drizzle and scattered showers.
–Lows will be either side of 40 degrees
–Rainfall of a half-inch to one-and-a-half inches is possible
–A warm front approaches the region from the southwest Tuesday
–Highs should crest well into the 50s, as more rain and possibly a few thunderstorms arrive during the afternoon and evening
–Scattered showers will last into the evening, before dissipating before midnight, with lows in the 40s.
–Some showers may be heavy, with a thunderstorm possible as cold front moves through. Rain amounts should be less than today
–The second of our two storms goes bye-bye for Wednesday, and mostly sunny skies develop in its wake
–Highs will be in the mid 50s with westerly wind gusts to 30mph at times
–Lows will be in the 30s with mostly clear skies
–Thursday is cooler, but still sunny with highs either side of 50 degrees
–Rain showers move back in for Friday, with highs in the 40s
–Colder air moves in on the back side of the Friday storm system
–A fair, but colder weekend is expected with highs in the low to mid 40s, and partly to mostly sunny skies. Have a great day!
