Good morning everybody, today and tonight we move through the Hoth-esque cold (Star Wars, anyone?), with this morning being the worst of it.

Northwest winds gusting 20-35mph will slacken this afternoon, but not before bestowing us with an Arctic exhalation that will drop wind chills down to near 0 degrees for some.

Actual air temp highs will be in the low to upper 20s across the region, with some folks in SVT staying in the upper teens!

At least it will be super sunny. Tonight, with clear skies and calm winds, lows should drop into the mid single digits to low teens.

I know, I can’t wait either, I’m smiling so much that it’s not frozen in place. Kinda disturbing, I know, but I aim to please.

Thursday will be mostly cloudy as milder and moister air returns from the southwest.

This will bump highs into the mid to upper 30s, with lows in the low to mid 20s.

Friday looks quite nice with highs in the low to mid 40s under mostly sunny skies and light southerly flow.

Then a generally dry cold front moves through and sends us freefalling into the teens for lows. However, a few snow showers are possible.

Saturday is our final day in this trifecta of meteorological non-perfection, with highs in the upper 20s to low 30s under mostly sunny skies, with lows in the mid to upper teens.

By Sunday, high pressure moves east and gives us a milder day with highs in the mid to upper 30s.

Then the Sunday night into Tuesday period has to be monitored for a potential coastal storm that could bring mixed precip to the region, including the potential for snow.

Once this system comes and goes, we will look for milder temps by mid week.

Have a great day!
