[LOOKING DRIER FOR MONDAY AND TUESDAY, THOUGH SOME MONDAY SHOWERS EXPECTED… COOLER EARLY WEEK, THEN WARMING… 7:15AM SUNDAY]
Good morning everybody, going to keep it short and simple for today, as there isn’t a ton to talk about.
Even though we are expected to see Tropical Storm Arthur form off of the eastern seaboard, high pressure early this week should be pushing far enough south into New England to push away substantial rains that were forecast just a couple of days ago.
SUMMARY
–For today, we will end up somewhere between partly sunny and mostly cloudy, but it will be pleasant, with highs in the mid 60s to low 70s
–Clouds will build back in tonight, and a few showers are possible with a warm front approaching the region. Lows will be near 50.
–For Monday, this is our best chance through Thursday of getting any appreciable rainfall
–Expect scattered showers with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s, and lows in the mid 40s with a few more showers possible
–Tuesday, at the moment, looks to feature high pressure nudging south, and simultaneously causing an Ohio Valley low to dive southeast, and to shunt T.S. Arthur southeast of our region
–While a shower can’t be ruled out, it looks mostly dry right now, and mostly cloudy with highs in the 50s and lows in the 40s
–Wednesday looks partly sunny as high pressure continues to dominate, with highs either side of 60 degrees and lows low 40s
–High pressure builds back into the region Thursday with highs in the 60s, and we should reach the 70s by Friday with more showers possible
Hope you have a good day…
