Good morning folks, it’s chilly out there as winds died down and it cleared right out. Wide variety of temps, though, anywhere from 35-50º, but there are some low 30s in isolated places, so I’m concerned for some isolated morning patchy frost, let me know if you saw any.

SUMMARY
–Morning sunshine gives way to building cumulus clouds later, with a few showers possible later in the afternoon
–Highs reach the upper 60s to mid 70s
–Any afternoon clouds dissipate into a mostly clear sky tonight with lows in the upper 30s to low 40s
–Saturday is the pick of the weekend with mostly sunny skies and a few afternoon clouds, but we should remain dry tomorrow
–Highs will reach the upper 60s to mid 70s once again, with lows in the mid to upper 40s
–For Sunday, we have a more robust upper level wave that will round the northeasterly flank of high pressure to our west and dive through the region
–This will bring a better chance for scattered showers and thundershowers Sunday afternoon, so expect partly sunny day on average, with cloudy periods in the afternoon
–We can’t rule out some small hail in some of these cells, but they should be scattered about, and not all that strong
–Highs will reach the low to mid 70s with lows in the mid to upper 40s
–For Monday, we’ll have another day with colder air aloft that will allow for a mostly sunny start, followed by a partly sunny finish with some isolated showers in the afternoon, and highs in the upper 60s to low 70s
–Lows will be down near 50º Monday night
–The Tuesday through Thursday period looks warmer and more stabilized vertically (less temperature gradient from surface to sky, so more in the way of dry weather)
–Highs should be well into the 70s during this period with some folks hitting 80º by mid-week! Lows will be in the 50s.
