DAILY DISCUSSION:
Good morning everybody, we have a winter weekend on the way, but luckily snow will be kept to a minimum.

Speaking of snow, some of us will see some snow showers today, mainly in the high terrain, but it’s even possible in the valley later this afternoon thanks to a cold frontal passage. A coating can’t be ruled out in some spots. Otherwise, it’s partly sunny, blustery and COLD.

Temps will plummet tonight as high pressure noses in from southeastern Canada and causes the wind to slacken by or after midnight. Dry air, calmer winds, and clearing skies will combine to produce the kind of radiational cooling that January would be proud to call its own.

After a frigid start tomorrow morning, we’ll enter a Sunday-Monday period with plenty of sunshine with highs in the 30s and lows in the teens.

Then by Tuesday, we have a whole mess of shortwaves, pieces of energy – atmospheric gobbledygook the way it looks now.

Some snow is possible between Tuesday night through Thursday, but beyond that, no atmospheric tea leaves are legible at the moment. Stay tuned, and have a great day!
