Feverish and sick
June illness can go pound sand
I’ve no time for this!

SOUTHEAST RIDGE GETS SQUASHED BY MONDAY NIGHT WITH HEAVY RAIN COMING… BEFORE THAT ONE MORE FULL DAY OF GLORIOUS WEEKEND SUNSHINE, WHICH WILL LAST INTO MONDAY AFTERNOON… A BRIEF BIT OF SUN WEDNESDAY LEADS TO MORE RAIN FOR THURSDAY… (7:15am Sunday)
Good morning everybody, I hope you’ve been enjoying this wonderful weekend weather, and today it will no doubt continue.
For today, some patchy morning fog will be possible in the higher terrain, but it should burn off quickly with the high June sun angle.
We’ll have sunny skies today with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s and a light south wind. Lows tonight will plummet into the upper 40s with dew point temps in the 40s during the day, and 30s in spots tonight – very dry!
For Monday, we transition. A trough of low pressure will push east towards New England, and will help to suppress the southeast U.S. ridge that brought our warmth over the weekend.
We will start off mostly sunny, but clouds will begin to build as the day wears on. Highs will rise into the low to upper 70s, and we’ll become overcast by mid to late afternoon.
By late afternoon into the early evening, showers will build into the region from southwest to northeast. Lows will sit in the upper 50s to low 60s, so expect a mild night.
Rain will fall hard at times Monday night into Tuesday, when over an inch of rain will fall for some. Tuesday highs will only reach the mid 60s to low 70s. Rain will quit by Tuesday afternoon with lows near 50 degrees.
Brief high pressure builds in for Wednesday with partly to mostly sunny skies with highs in the low to mid 70s, but clouds build back in Wednesday night with showers possible.
Yet another trough swings through with surface low pressure and another bout of potentially heavy rain. Highs will only be in the 60s, which will be fairly raw for June standards.
A morning shower Friday gives way to a partly sunny day and next weekend, at the moment, looks sunny with highs in the low 70s.
No super hot or humid conditions are in sight.
Have a great day!
