Good morning everybody, this morning is going to be a briefer report as I wanted to get the word out about what is already shaking some people out of bed in southern VT and the Berkshires, as well as westernmost Franklin County.

A series of waves will move through the region today and tomorrow, and the first one to contend with is this morning.

Showers, downpours, and thunderstorms, some strong, are slowly moving east through the region first thing this morning.

Please post reports if you are in the Berkshires, southern VT and western hilltowns if you read this just after 6am.

Northwest CT will be getting into some thunderstorms a little later, perhaps around 7am.

This first round of stormy weather will be followed by isolated to scattered showers with rain-free periods later this morning and afternoon, with more showers and storms possible later this afternoon and tonight.

Highs today will only reach the 65-70º under mostly cloudy skies, with lows in the upper 50s.

Another disturbance moves through tomorrow with more afternoon scattered showers and thunderstorms, and some may be strong, with highs in the 70s.

Wednesday through Friday looks gorgeous with sunshine and highs in the 70s Wednesday and Thursday, and reaching the mid 70s to low 80s by Friday before more showers/storms arrive on Saturday with another frontal boundary passage.

I will update a couple of times today, but wanted to get this report out ASAP given active weather coming in this morning, and already in the Berkshires, Taconics and SVT, all heading east.

Please post any reports below, and thank you…
