Good morning everybody, one thing is certain in this world, and that is our temperatures are most assuredly going to be rising steadily and with gusto from today through early next week, starting in the 70s today, and topping out into the mid 90s by the start of next week, so gear up for summer conditions, as humidity will be increasing by then as well.

For today, a fair weather ridge is building into the region, but we’ve also got some mid-level moisture in the form of cloudiness that will be working through the region. At times we’ll have some sunshine, at others the sun will show dimly through high clouds, and at other times it’ll be cloudy.

Highs will reach the low to upper 70s through much of the region, with some upper 60s up in the southern Greens region of VT. Lows tonight will drop into the upper 40s to low 50s under partly cloudy skies. Winds will be light out of the west today and southwest tonight.

For Wednesday, we’ll be dealing with the first of two warm frontal boundaries that will be pushing the heat and humidity into the region in waves as we head toward the weekend, by which time the first major heat surge will be underway for the 2021 warm season.

So, for tomorrow, we should enjoy a partly sunny day with comfortable humidity and highs in the mid 70s to low 80s with a few scattered showers in the afternoon. Lows will drop into the mid 50s under mostly cloudy skies.

A mid-level disturbance with plenty of moisture to work with will approach for Thursday, and honestly it’s looking very wet at the moment. Showers and thunderstorms are expected, starting in the morning and lasting throughout the day and night with highs in the low to mid 70s and lows in the low 60s as humidity surges.

For Friday, leftover showers are likely as a warm front approaches. Highs will reach the 75-80º range with lows near 60º.

Once we reach the weekend, we will see partly to mostly sunny skies develop with hot temperatures. Saturday reaches the low to upper 80s with a few 90º readings sprinkled in.

Sunday and Monday? FAWGEDDABOUTIT!

Highs reach the mid 80s to low 90s Sunday and the upper 80s to mid 90s on Monday, with more low to mid 90s possible Tuesday, for our first heat wave of the year.

Get ready, summah lovahs!
