The weather should cooperate for the most part, although an isolated shower or thunderstorm is possible today, mainly along and south of the MassPike. It will continue to be very humid.
Any showers or storms dissipate around sunset, with continued very humid conditions.
For tomorrow, we endure the final day of our long-duration heat wave. Dare I say this may be the peak heat of summer? It’s looking like it cools down a bit as the ridge retrogresses west, and puts us in a trough by the second half of July.
For the short term, though, we have another oppressive day with highs in the low to mid 90s Thursday and dewpoints in the 70s for more high humidity.
Friday looks rainy with lots of showers and thunderstorms as a cold front sweeps the region. The weekend still looks amazing, sunny, dry, cooler, highs in the upper 70s to low 80s, heavenly.
