Good morning everybody, thanks for all the great sky pics, storm pics and vids, reports, and overall great vibes from all the folks out there. You rock!

Gratefully, our severe weather threat is over until at least next Wednesday, so we will get a break in the action through the weekend… from the strong/severe thunderstorms.

After Saturday night, the heat and humidity will build right back into the region, and some spots should end up with a 3-day heat wave with high temps in the low to mid 90s for some, with Monday being the hottest of the 3-day stretch.

SUMMARY
–Any patchy morning fog burns off by mid morning or so
–As our cold front sags south of the coastline today, high pressure builds from the north and fosters northeast flow
–Dewpoints will lower to about the low 60s or so, so it will still be humid, but noticeably more comfortable
–High temps will reach the low to mid 80s under partly to mostly sunny skies
–An isolated shower or storm can’t be ruled out, and should occur south of the Pike if it does form
–For tonight, high pressure builds more deeply into the region, allowing low temps to drop into upper 50s to low 60s
–With lower humidity, tonight will be great for sleeping!
–Saturday is the pick of the weekend with mostly sunny skies, lowered humidity, and highs in the 85-90º range
–Lows Saturday will dip into the low to mid 60s
–By Sunday, a ridge develops south of us and pumps in southerly flow, and the corresponding heat and humidity that goes along with it
–Sunday through Monday should feature highs in the upper 80s to low 90s each day, with mid 90s being possible on Monday
–Humidity will be way up too, with dewpoints in the upper 60s to low/mid 70s
–Still, higher pressures will keep showers and stormsLow at bay until about Tuesday when a spot shower or storm will be possible
–Lows during this period will be in the upper 60s to low 70s Sunday and Monday nights, with lows in the 60s Tuesday night
–By Wednesday and Thursday, another round of showers, downpours and thunderstorms will arrive with a new frontal boundary
–Highs will be in the low to mid 80s and it will be quite humid still
–By the second half of Thursday, we should see an upper level trough swing into eastern Canada, produce northwest flow, and cool/dry us down/out by end of the week, possibly into next weekend with highs in the 80-85º range

Have a great day folks!
