Good morning everybody, we’ve entered a calm period as high pressure slowly starts to nudge eastward into the region, fostering the flow of drier and cooler air out of Canada into New England for the next couple of days.

SUMMARY
–While a spot shower is possible today, no thunderstorms are expected
–Expect mostly cloudy skies with highs in the mid to upper 70s and light easterly flow
–We could see some sunny breaks develop, with the best chance in the afternoon
–Dewpoints will be in the upper 50s to low 60s, so it will be much more tolerable
–Lows tonight will drop to either side of 60 degrees with dry conditions, and comfortable sleeping weather
–For Thursday, we’ll enjoy a dry, partly sunny day with highs in the upper 70s. Ahhhhhh….
–By Thursday night, a warm front will approach the region and thicken the cloud deck
–Lows will drop into the low 60s and a few showers are possible during the pre-dawn hours of Friday
–On Friday, a warm front pushes into the region, fostering scattered showers and thunderstorms as a storm passes to our north
–Highs will reach the mid to upper 70s and humidity will start to increase at night
–Lows will only settle into the mid to upper 60s with scattered showers or thunderstorms possible
–This weekend, the heat will be hot!
–Both days will be dry, but feature mostly sunny skies, humid conditions, and highs in the upper 80s to mid 90s both days, and Heat Advisories may be hoisted for some of our regional counties
–Lows each night will be in the upper 60s to low 70s, so here come the fans and ACs again
–I think we have a good chance for a heat wave in many areas through Tuesday, as highs will reach the upper 80s to low 90s early next week with increasing chances of showers, downpours and thunderstorms
