DISCUSSION:
Good morning everybody, we’re starting off in the low to upper 60s this morning with dewpoints in the upper 50s to mid 60s. Some patchy fog has formed, for example in North Adams. This will evaporate in short order as the surface warms thanks to our rising star.
A weak trough moves through today and as such could join (weak) forces with remnant moisture and produce a sprinkle or two over the region. Otherwise it’s mostly sunny and pleasant day with decreasing humidity and light winds. Tonight will be clear as well.
Thursday and Friday look beautiful, mostly sunny, highs in the low to mid 80s with lows in the upper 50s.
The weekend looks nice with increasing humidity by Sunday and temps approaching 90 degrees by that time. A weak cold front may spark a few showers or an isolated thunderstorm Saturday afternoon, something to watch.
All in all, we’re looking good through the weekend! Next week the heat will build and so will the chance for showers and thunderstorms by the middle of the week.
Have a great day!
