Good morning everybody, we’ve got three inclement weather disturbances to work through as we’ve entered an active, but milder pattern for the first 2-3 weeks of January.

The driver of the Bulletization Mobile(TM) has resorted to using a paint gun in an attempt to get me up and taking nourishment, so before breakfast dives into my belly, I shall comply and commence with bulletization activities forthwith (see below for more details):

SUMMARY
–A warm front along with a cold front right on its heels will push east through the region today
–Snow showers will develop across parts of the region, but they will be spotty/scattered in coverage
–Some coatings are possible, maybe up to an inch in the high terrain west of I-91, but that should do it
–Temps start off in the upper teens to mid 20s this morning, and will reach the low to mid 30s for highs
–West winds will gust to 20mph or so tonight as lows drop into the low to mid 20s under partly cloudy skies
–A few snow showers may pop over the Taconics or Berkshires
–On Tuesday, morning sunshine will give way to increasing clouds with highs in the mid to upper 30s
–By Tuesday night (sometime either side of midnight) snow showers will redevelop, with lows in the mid 20s
–Snow showers will continue Wednesday morning, with the steadiest over northeast CT, eastern Hampden/Hampshire Counties, and southern Worcester County, down into EMass and southeast MA
–A coating to an inch is possible in those areas, but this storm has continued to trend south and east, and looks like it will a flat tracker (more easterly, than anything)
–Highs on Wednesday will be in the upper 20s to mid 30s
–Starting with Wednesday night, we’re entering the deep freeze for about 24 hours or so
–Lows will plummet into the low teens, and northwesterly wind gusts will rise above 30mph at times, knocking wind chills down to near 0 degrees for some by early Thursday morning, so bundle up!
–Thursday is gorgeous, mostly sunny, but cold, with highs only in the 20s
–Lows will drop into the upper teens at night with clouds increasing
–We should see a front end area of snow develop into Friday morning (which may be the commute most impacted this week), and then change to rain after a warm front lifts through
–Strong southwest flow will develop, and push highs into the low 40s Friday with rain showers during the day and night, with lows in the upper 30s to low 40s
–Saturday looks rainy and mild, with highs in the low 50s for a day
–Sunday could also feature some showers, but we should cool back down into the 40s

Have a great day!
