Good morning everybody, because double-dashes never go out of style, even in 2021, I will be furnishing them with great abundance throughout the remainder of this report, enjoy.

SUMMARY
–Snow showers are ongoing in much of southern VT, the northern Berkshires/Taconics, and drifting into the NW hilltowns at times
–A coating to as much as 2″ or so (highest in the Mt. Snows of the region) is expected through early afternoon
–For the rest of us in the WMass region, highs will reach the 35-40º range, and we can’t rule out an isolated rain or snow shower or two under mostly cloudy skies on average, with some partly sunny skies in the valley points east early on in the day
–After a rain or snow shower in the afternoon, we should start to dry out as the cold front continues through, and see lows in the low 20s tonight with skies trending to partly cloudy
–For Tuesday, a partly sunny to mostly cloudy type sky day is expected with highs in the low to mid 30s
–Some snow showers are possible along and west of the Rt. 7 corridor in SW.VT, the Berkshires, and NW.CT Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning with only coatings possible, and lows in the low to mid 20s
–For Wednesday, any morning snow showers in the Berkshires gives way to a partly sunny day with highs in the mid 20s to low 30s
–In addition, as our 2nd light system of the week departs east, west winds will pick up and gust 20-30mph, which will produce a blustery Wednesday for many
–Lows will then plummet into the upper single digits to low teens Wednesday night as very cold air advects into the region
–For Thursday, a mostly cloudy day is expected as we will be on the heels of another incoming weak wave
–Highs will reach the upper 20s to low 30s under mostly cloudy skies, and some afternoon and evening snow showers are expected in the Berkshires, with lows in the low/mid 20s
–On Friday, we’ll enter a mild sector with highs in the mid to upper 30s under partly sunny skies before a strong cold front works through the region with lows in the upper teens to low 20s
–The weekend looks quite cold, with highs only in the 20s, and lows in the low teens with northwest gusts to 20mph both days
–Then we look to early next week, when our next winter storm chance shows up for Tuesday

Have a great day!
