Good morning everybody, hope you all slept well last night and are ready for this beautiful weekend!!

SUMMARY
–For today and tomorrow, huge, sprawling high pressure that is sitting over the eastern two-thirds of the nation will bubble, lumber, and shift east off of the southeast U.S. coastline
–This will produce westerly and southwesterly flow into the region
–Expect sunny skies and highs in the mid 30s to low 40s
–A few gusts could kick over 20mph, but otherwise we should have generally lighter winds
–Lows tonight will drop into the low to mid 20s
–For tomorrow, it will become even milder, with temps in the 40s under plenty of sunshine with highs in the mid to upper 40s and lows in the mid to upper 20s under clear skies
–Monday will begin a shift toward stormier weather, but should be the mildest day of the stretch
–High pressure wil be on the wane as an upper level system starts to push in from the west
–Still, highs will reach the upper 40s to low 50s, which is well above average for late February
–Clouds will be on the increase Monday night and while a spotty shower or flurry is possible, it should be mostly dry into Tuesday. Lows will be near freezing
–For Tuesday expect mostly cloudy skies and highs in the low to mid 40s
–The main impact of the incoming work week is Tuesday night into Wednesday morning
–It looks like a warm front will be positioned to our south and at the same time, a cold air damming flow will set up in the low levels, draining cooler air on Tuesday night into portions of the WMass region, especially the further north you go
–This will produce lows in the low 30s, at the same time that precipitation moves northeastward into the region
–This could produce a mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain, which could impact the Wednesday morning commute
–I will continue to update as we get closer
–Any mix would likely change to rain showers by Wednesday afternoon with highs in the upper 30s to low 40s
–Thereafter, a secondary storm will rip up through the eastern Great Lakes and bring widespread rainfall Wednesday into Thursday before we get colder by late week into next weekend

Have a great day!
