BRIEF DAILY SUMMARY:
Good morning everybody, we have two completely different weather days upon us. Today, we will receive the last of our recent southern surge that will be squashed south of the region starting late tonight. Until then, temps will soar into the 60s, and the low 70s provided we see mostly sunny skies, which are expected. It will be balmy, with a warm southerly breeze. Enjoy it for the day, as it’s on the way out.

For tonight, isolated to scattered showers will move in as a cold front passes south and east of the region. Lows will be in the low to mid 30s.

On Thursday, as the cold front sags south, low pressure will develop and ride along it from west to east, passing to our south. It appears that we will see a period of light accumulating snow during the afternoon that will quit by the early evening. We can expect a coating to 2″ the way it looks now, but I will update if that changes as we get closer.

More rain is expected Friday afternoon and night and over the weekend, with some mixing with snow and ice in the high terrain.

Have a great day!
