Good morning everybody, a strong high pressure cell is sliding southeast through New England today, which will continue to promote dry weather in our region.
We can expect partly sunny skies on average today, with highs in the 30-35 degree range with a light southerly developing.
Lows tonight will dip into the mid to upper teens under partly cloudy skies.
By Sunday, we turn the tide, my friends. Highs will reach to either side of 40 degrees under mostly sunny skies with lows in the 20s.
On Monday, we’re heading higher with high temps in the mid 40s, and you guessed it, mostly sunny skies. Lows will be in the upper 20s.
By Tuesday, we start tamping temps down a tad, with highs near 40 degrees under mostly sunny skies and lows in the 20s for Christmas Eve.
On Christmas Day, more clouds than sun are expected with highs in the mid to upper 30s and dry weather. Lows will be in the 20s with clouds potentially increasing.
On Thursday or Friday we will be watching an Alberta Clipper diving southeast toward New England, which may touch off some snow showers in the region.
Enjoy the weekend, peeps!
