DAILY DISCUSSION:
Good morning everybody, we will start off dry today with cloudy periods and sunny periods until we cloud up by late morning and early afternoon. While a brief period of snow and sleet may move in by late morning to early afternoon, we should see mostly rain showers by early afternoon with some sleet mixed in at times. Highs get into the low 40s but cool down into the 30s later in the day. It’ll be a raw later afternoon and evening to be sure.

Some freezing rain is possible this evening as evaporate cooling takes place, cooling our surface temperatures to near freezing above 1000 feet in elevation.

By later tonight, we should just see drizzle and patchy dense fog as the warm front continues to edge closer, with lows in the low to mid 30s.

For tomorrow, scattered showers are possible at any time. Luckily, lapse rates are looking less steep tomorrow, so the strong thunderstorm threat is waning.

Regardless, we should see some gusty downpours later in the day with the cold frontal passage. Ahead of that? It will warm into the low 60s for highs. Winds will gust 40-50mph at times tomorrow evening and on Thursday so hold on to your hats!

Have a great day!
