Good morning everybody, I’m itching to jump into the Bulletization Mobile(TM), so hop aboard and follow the non-bouncing double dashes!

SUMMARY
–Mild start today, with temps in the upper 60s to low 70s and dewpoints in the 60s.
–This summer taste is on the way out, vamoosing to the south with vim
–Some sunny breaks are expected in CT, generally south of the Pike, and with the front a bit slower, we should get some more insolation (heating of the surface by the Sun) there. Otherwise, mostly cloudy skies are expected.
–These areas should climb into the low 80s for a time
–The rest of us should climb well into the 70s, with high temps already being realized in SVT and SWNH
–A spot shower is possible in places this morning, and the southern Berkshires into the SW western hilltowns are seeing some lighter activity at 7am
–Once we pass the noon hour, we should start to see the front approach and press south through the region
–Temps will drop during the afternoon, first to the north, and later to the south
–You can see in the attached graphic how dew points will be crashing as the front tracks north to south this afternoon
–Showers will become more numerous as they track east along the incoming front, and get rung out over the WMass region this afternoon and early evening
–Don’t be surprised if some northerly wind gusts over 20mph accompany the frontal passage today
–Temps will fall through the 60s during the afternoon, land in the 50s tonight, and bottom out in the low to mid 40s by early tomorrow morning
–Showers abate before midnight tonight
–For Thursday, a few sunny breaks in the morning give way to a mostly cloudy day.
–Highs will only reach the upper 40s to mid 50s from the high terrain to the valley areas….that’s 20 degrees colder than our temps this morning!
–It will be dry to start, but a wave of low pressure will track east along the southern New England coastline and bring more rainfall in the later afternoon and especially overnight
–Anywhere from a quarter inch up to an inch of rainfall is possible by noon on Friday
–Lows Thursday night will bottom out in the low to mid 40s
–Rain continues Friday morning, but gets kicked out by noon or so, and high pressure quickly builds in behind the departing low
–This pressure gradient and another shot of colder air will create our first blustery day of the incoming cold season, with NW winds gusting 25-40mph at times and highs in the 50s as sunshine develops
–Winds calm Friday night and skies clear. This allows temps to plummet into the low to mid 30s with areas of frost developing. I expect Frost Advisories and possibly some Freeze Warnings for southern VT to be posted by tomorrow or Friday
–Saturday rules with sunshine and highs in the 50s and lows in the mid 30s
–Sunday is also nice, because high pressure scoots east of us allowing SW flow and milder temps, with highs in the 60s under partly sunny skies
–But by later afternoon, clouds build ahead of the next wave of low pressure which will bring more rain Sunday night through Monday
–Highs on Monday could crest 70 degrees before another cold front approaches by Tuesday with cooler temps expected through the rest of next week with more sunshine developing

Have a great day!
