[THURS-7:20AM] ALL WE EVER HAVE IS THE DAY WE FIND OURSELVES WAKING UP TO, AND THIS DAY WILL BE A PIECE OF SPRING PERFECTION… I HOPE YOU ENJOY IT…
TODAY’S DATE: Thursday, May 5, 2022
Good morning everybody, while some of us saw up to two-thirds of an inch of rain over the past 24 hours, many of us reached a third of an inch or less of total rainfall from yesterday’s system. For today, we’ve got gorgeous weather ahead, but we do face another rainy graze from the south Friday night into Saturday with showers currently expected up to the level of the MA Pike on southward with cool temperatures followed by a killer sunny Sunday with fair weather and increasing temps into the middle of next week, but before we dive into all of the weather details below, let’s check a note from our local and delicious sponsor, #TandemBagelCo, with a new location in West Springfield, MA.

WEATHER SUMMARY
–Good morning everybody, we have a beautiful day ahead with light northwest wind, mostly sunny skies and highs mostly in the mid 60s to mid 70s from north to south
–For tonight, clouds will start to develop but wind should continue to be light, with lows dropping into the mid 30s to mid 40s
–On Friday, clouds will continue to build in from the west as a storm slides east through the Ohio Valley
–It won’t be as warm, but still should be well into the 60s for highs with light and variable winds
–Clouds thicken in the evening, and some showers are possible into northwest CT and southwest MA at night with lows in the low to mid 40s
–For Saturday, our rain shield is going to push north as far as the Mass Pike or so, or may only nudge into parts of the 4 northern CT counties, with mostly cloudy skies expected north of that rain shield in the rest of the region, with some partly sunny breaks possible in SVT or SWNH
–As the storm tracks south of us, it will create an easterly onshore flow, which cools us down this time of year, and highs will only be in the 50s for Saturday, with lows in the upper 30s
–On Sunday, high pressure builds back in with plenty of sunshine and highs in the upper 50s to low 60s with lows in the upper 30s
–Monday looks lovely as well with highs in the low to mid 60s under mostly sunny skies, with lows in the low 40s
–Tuesday and Wednesday looks to continue the train of sunny days with increasing temps, reaching the low to mid 70s by Wednesday
–However, I may have spoken too prematurely next week’s late-week period
–We’re going to have to see what happens to that low that brings rain to southernmost New England on Saturday, as it now looks to jog south, and then WEST, which may block out the Bermuda high and regenerate a more onshore flow, so stay tuned for updates

At least we have a sweet day today, and a fair weather period from Sunday to the middle of next week that looks pretty likely at this point.

I hope you have a great day, and that good things happen for you!
