SNOW WILL GET HEAVIER LATE MORNING INTO AFTERNOON… ACCIDENTS ALREADY REPORTED ON THE PIKE AND ELSEWHERE…
Good morning folks, heavier snow banding is already starting to work northeast into northern CT and WMass at 10:30am and is headed northeast. Waves of increasingly heavier snow are on the way by mid day into early afternoon.
Snowfall rates will increase this afternoon up to 1-3″ per hour, and maybe even higher than 3″ per hour in the high terrain either side of the CT River Valley. If you must travel, wrap it up before noon, today is not a day to be on the roads.
