Good evening everybody, well well well today certainly was toastier, and the Toast Factor will increase even more tomorrow as temps top out well into the 70s with a few low 80s highs likely to reached in the Pioneer Valley of WMass.

Wind gusts maxed out around 35mph today, with a couple gusts a bit higher than that, and with Worcester Airport at 1000 feet in elevation hitting the jackpot at 44mph.

It’ll continue to be breezy overnight with lows hanging in the mid 40s to low 50s, and it should remain dry.

By tomorrow on Tuesday, we’ll start to be placed within a pre-frontal zone, though much of the stronger dynamics to help produce showers and thunderstorms will reside much farther northwest of our region.

Still, given that we’ll see continued southwest flow with a bit of an increase in dewpoints and high temps reaching the 70s to 80º, southwest wind gusts will pick up to 25-40mph at times, and isolated showers or a thunderstorm will be also possible (especially in far northwest MA or SVT/SWNH around early evening).

Lastly, an increased risk of fire spread will be very pronounced tomorrow, with Red Flag Warnings already hoisted by the NWS for the Taconics of eastern NY that abut the counties of Bennington in VT, Berkshire in AM, and Litchfield in CT.

After lows in the 50s Tuesday night, we’ll see clouds develop with some showers possible, but rainfall will really commence by about mid-day through the afternoon and Wednesday evening, tapering off sometime by Thursday morning.

I will update you all in the morning, and hope you have a great night!
