MORE ARCTIC COLD ON THE WAY IN WAVES THROUGH MID-DECEMBER...

Good evening everybody, we’ll see a few snow showers overnight but the cold air will be the big story as an Arctic cold sweeps the region tonight, dropping lows into the upper single digits to mid teens by morning.

In addition, northwest wind gusts will pick up by Monday morning and gust 20-30mph at times with highs only reaching the upper teens to mid 20s, which could drop the wind chill into the low teens at times, under sunny skies.

Wind will slacken Monday night as high pressure pushes in from the southwest, and allow radiational cooling to maximize.

Low temps will plummet to the single digits above AND below zero by early Tuesday morning, and then we’ll be looking at a potential Clipper Parade for Tuesday night through into this next weekend (the details of which I will dial in as we get closer, but snow is likely in at least one or two of these systems, if not all 3).

Have a great night, and I will update with a full report tomorrow morning!
