SCATTERED LIGHT MIXED SHOWERS BEFORE AND AFTER DAWN WEDNESDAY MORNING, ENDING BY MID-AFTERNOON...
Good evening everybody, what a beautiful day it was outside! Cool, yes, but gorgeous and I hope you got outside and enjoyed a bit.
As for tonight, clouds will increase as a warm front presses toward the greater WMass region overnight with a weak system riding along it and sending some moisture our way after midnight.
The trend has been for lighter activity, and even with low temps in the low to mid 30s (which are marginal), you like to see a more moderate to heavier intensity to pull the cold air down for any high terrain snow.
Still, it appears that elevations above 1000 feet could see some scattered snow or rain/sleet/snow mix in light showers anytime after 3am through the mid-morning tomorrow before temps rise enough that most folks would turn to plain rain.
The valley south and east could see an early mix but should trend towards mostly rain, and then everything is out of here by early to mid afternoon as temps rise well into the 40s.
This whole event is being fully positioned into the #NoBigWhoop category, but some folks will see some stuff fall out of the sky tomorrow that can be categorized as hydrometeors.
Have a great night, Dave.
