FRIDAY EVENING'S SHOWER AND STORM ACTIVITY IS TRACKING SOUTHEAST INTO MOSTLY SOUTHERN PARTS OF WMASS AND NORTHWEST AND NORTH-CENTRAL CT...

Good afternoon folks, just a quick update to say that the strongest thunderstorm growth has formed in northwest CT and is tracking southeast through the southern Berkshires and western parts of Hampshire and Hampden Counties where cells are starting to weaken with time.

It’s the northwest and north-central parts of CT where the more torrential rainfall is developing along with one or two strong thunderstorms, and this activity will continue for another 1-2 hours with some leftover scattered showers in southern WMass and northern CT possible after sunset.

Please post any reports below if you live out in these areas, and I will keep an eye on things, thanks, Dave.
