Weather Nut Update

FORECAST ON TRACK, CLOUDS INCREASE TONIGHT WITH RAIN DEVELOPING BY MID TO LATE SUNDAY MORNING WITH PERIODS OF RAIN ALL DAY INTO THE EVENING…
Good afternoon / evening folks, we had a very nice day with sunshine during much of it, but clouds have thickened with time and we’ll continue to have various thicknesses of clouds overnight with lows dropping into the 40s overnight for many of us.
As a warm front is lifted northeast towards the southern New England coastline, low pressure will lift toward New England and push a blooming area of rainfall into our region by mid to late morning with rain everywhere of some intensity by early afternoon.
If you’re going to the Pats game vs. the Steelers with a 1pm kickoff, you may get a a bit of dry time, but I’d plan for wet weather and very cool temps.
Highs tomorrow in the greater WMass region will be mainly in the 50s, and possible near 50º north of the Rt. 2 corridor into SVT, so expect a raw, wet day, though wind should be light.
There is a lower potential that a heavier band of rain could set up as that warm front pushes and focuses moisture into high terrain areas generally along and south of the Pike into southern parts of WMass, CMass and northern CT, and if that happens, over an inch may fall.
Otherwise roughly a quarter inch to a full inch of rain is expected by late Sunday night with lows in the upper 40s to mid 50s with patchy fog possible late.
I will update in the morning, and I hope you have a great night!
