WIND ADVISORIES ARE UP FOR THE BERKSHIRES AND WESTERN HILLTOWNS FOR TOMORROW MORNING... OUR LIGHT SNOWFALL BUSTED...

Good evening everybody, I feel badly about the busted forecast today. Going forward, we’ll see some more snow showers or freezing drizzle tonight with some high terrain coatings along and north of Rt. 2 and well east of I-91 in CMass, especially north of the Pike. SVT and SWNH may see another 1″ or so by midnight as some heavier snow showers are moving in that direction.

Winter Weather Advisories have expired in the Berkshires and will eventually expire out of SVT later.

Otherwise, watch for black ice tonight as temps drop into the upper 20s to low 30s.

Behind this system, northwest winds are going to pick up and gust 30-50mph by tomorrow morning and Wind Advisories are up for the Berkshires and western hilltowns for what will become a blustery morning of Christmas Eve.

High temps will reach the mid to upper 30s tomorrow under partly sunny skies, and winds will die down as we cool way down for XMas Eve with lows in the teens to low 20s, leading to a mostly dry XMas Day, though a few snow showers will be possible in the morning.

I will update in the morning, have a great night…
