Good afternoon folks, we’ve got some more drizzle or light showers to move through this evening and overnight as low pressure at the surface in the eastern Great Lakes starts to weaken and a secondary low develops south of New England into Thursday.

So, we should see lighter activity with dry periods overnight with lows in the 45-50º range. Shower activity should increase from south to north early tomorrow morning, which then should become a bit heavier and more numerous as the morning wears on.

By Thursday afternoon as our ocean storm starts to deepen while our upper low swings overhead, more numerous and heavy showers should start pushing from south to north across the ocean, so expect a rainy afternoon with a few downpours possible.

Highs will only be in the mid 50s to low 60s for our Thursday, and showers should continue into Thursday night, starting to track more southeast to northwest which could cause some heavier rain totals over the western hilltowns into eastern Berkshire County and the northern Worcester highlands as terrain-effects ring some more moisture out of the clouds.

Friday looks to feature more light showers, periods of drizzle, or even some afternoon pop-up showers as the upper low tracks overhead and then east of our region by the weekend, which will feature more sunshine and much warmer temps as we turn and take a deeper step into later Spring.

Have a great night!
