SOME LIGHT SNOW OR FREEZING RAIN/DRIZZLE NORTH OF THE PIKE THIS EARLY MORNING... MORE SNOW SHOWERS POSSIBLE LATER
Good morning everybody, just a quick update to say that our frontal system is being energized a bit by a low center passing ENE south of Nantucket this morning, and we’re seeing some light mixed precip with light snow on the far northern part of the precip shield which is pulling east at 5am.
Some slippery spots may develop in the Berkshires, western hilltowns, Franklin County northern CMass, and perhaps elevated areas of Hampshire County where temps dip to the low to mid 30s.
If you see any wintry precip please post on FB if you frequent it, and in my full report towards 7am, I’ll discuss potential for more snow showers around mid-day into the afternoon for our Monday… cold days with highs in the 30s ahead, thank you…
