TUESDAY MORNING SHOWERS EXPECTED AS UNSETTLED WEEK DEVELOPS WITH CHANGING TEMPS...

Good afternoon everybody, I did not expect this much sunshine today and as a result, temps shot up well into the 60s and up into the mid 70s for many valley residents, which is about 10 degrees higher than expected.

Clouds will increase tonight with lows settling into the upper 40s to mid 50s, and isolated showers will be possible during the mid to late pre-dawn hours, with steadier and/or heavier showers pushing into the region by 6am and lasting until about noon or so.

We’ll see hit or miss showers in the afternoon, and another pulse may develop into the evening. With clouds expected tomorrow, highs should live in the 65-70º range.

However, a backdoor cold front with cooler air seeping southwest into parts of SWNH and CMass may cool temps there by later afternoon vs. the rest of the greater WMass region, and I will post a full update tomorrow morning about a rather unsettled week ahead.

I hope you have a good evening, Dave.
