RAIN SHOWERS ON THE WAY FOR LATE AFTERNOON AND EVENING...

Good afternoon folks, we’ve already got southerly flow into the region with gusts mostly 20-30mph with 33mph reported at Worcester.

As it turns out, it’s much drier to the east, and this moist air represented in the attached water vapor still image is going to press eastward into the drier air, and with time bring rain showers to our region’s surface later this afternoon and evening (SVT is already getting some rainfall).

This pulse of rain should be out of here by or after midnight, and while some towns further east and south (northeast CT and central MA) will probably see a tenth to quarter inch of rain or so, up to half an inch or so is possible in northwest MA and SVT.

Not a big drink, but enough to produce a showery Friday evening for us.

Have a great rest of your Friday, and I will update about the weekend into Monday in tomorrow morning’s report, take care, Dave.
