PERIODS OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVERNIGHT...
Good evening everybody, we’ve had some isolated reports of damage tonight, including a tree down blocking Route 2 in Charlemont, but practically zero outages have resulted.
We currently have a severe-warned storm moving through the southeast Berkshires and northeast Litchfield County CT headed for western Hampden/Hampshire Counties in MA and northwest Hartford County in CT, though no strong wind signatures are shown on radar at the moment.
The bottom line is that we’ll see periods of showers, downpours and thunderstorms overnight. We should see a lull after 11pm-Midnight, but another cluster of showers are working into central NY and that will track east into our region after midnight.
Please post any active weather conditions below, and have a great night.
