SEVERE BERKSHIRES
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING PROBABLE FOR CENTRAL BERKSHIRES... WIND DAMAGE POSSIBLE, AND EVEN PROBABLE...
Good afternoon folks, this is a quick update to say a nasty-looking severe-warned storm is bearing down on the central third of the Berkshires by 4:30ish, or a bit after, and it looks quite windy in spots, meaning that isolated damaging wind gusts are possible.
It is not yet labeled as a severe thunderstorm warning as of 4:10pm for Berkshire County, but I am telling you this looks quite windy in spots.
Get inside when this storm arrives anywhere between Stockbridge on north to Lanesborough and all points between (Lenox, Pittsfield, Lee, etc.), *and* points east of there into the eastern part of the county, and eventuall the western hilltowns of Hampshire County and southwest Franklin County.
I repeat, this cluster is gaining strength and wind damage is probably in spots, do not linger ouside when this storm passes into our region in the aqreas listed above, west of the I-91 corridor.
Get indoors when thunder roars, more soon… Dave.
