TODAY’S YOUR WEEKEND PICK, NICE SUNDAY MORNING AND A SHOWER POSSIBLE BY EVENING… TUESDAY TO THURSDAY UNSETTLED WITH SHOWERS AND PERHAPS A FEW THUNDERSTORMS AT TIMES, ESPECIALLY TUE
Good morning folks, we have a truly gorgeous day to enjoy, and what a gift it is to be sailing through the Cosmos on this beautiful planet this morning with blue skies and sunshine and cool temps that will increase to pure atmospheric comfort, supportive of any and all outdoor activities. Today is a good day, and I hope you enjoy it.
We have high pressure moving overhead to thank for our lovely Saturday, and highs rise up into the upper 60s to upper 70s after a chilly start where lows dipped as low as the mid 40s in parts of our region!
We’ll enjoy a light north wind under sunny skies today, and we’ll see lows dip into the low to mid 50s tonight under partly cloudy skies.
For Sunday, high pressure will keep on trucking east, putting us into a return southerly flow which will warm our highs into the low 70s to low 80s. We should start off sunnier, but end up cloudier with a bit more in the way of humidity by Sunday evening, along with a few showers possible. Lows will drop into the mid 50s to low 60s.
On Monday, we’ll likely enjoy our last mostly dry day before much of the incoming work week becomes unsettled with periods of showers and thunderstorms moving through the greater WMass region as waves of low pressure at various altitudes swing southeast through our region, riding along a stalled frontal boundary.
Monday’s highs reach the low 70s to low 80s with slowly increasing humidity under partly sunny skies, with a few showers possible late at night with lows 55-60º.
Again, the middle part of the week starting with Tuesday looks to feature periods of wet weather, and even a few strong thunderstorms possible, but we’ll need to get closer before I can better parse out the expected daily impacts for you.
Right now, Tuesday and Thursday look to be the wettest, and high temps during this more humid period will generally reside in the upper 60s to upper 70s from the hills to the valley, respectively.
If we’re lucky, we’ll start to dry out Friday with a few showers possible, and then hopefully empty into another lovely weekend!
Have a great day!
