VERY WARM AND HUMID THROUGH THURSDAY WITH A COUPLE OF DISTURBANCES FOR MONDAY AND LATE WEDNESDAY INTO THURSDAY… A COLD FRONT SWEEPS THE REGION BY THURSDAY NIGHT, COOLER/DRIER...
Good morning folks, we’ve got some patchy fog around this early morning but that will burn off with time to reveal a very warm, humid, mostly sunny day with highs in the upper 70s to upper 80s with a break in the action for showers and storms expected today before more chances develop later Monday afternoon and again Wednesday night into Thursday.
Lows tonight will drop into the upper 50s to low 60s under mostly clear skies with a disturbance set to move through the region by Monday night.
Highs on Monday will again reach the upper 70s to upper 80s, and while we’ll start off mostly sunny, clouds should build by mid to late afternoon as our incoming disturbance acts on our warm and humid air mass in place.
By later afternoon, scattered showers, downpours and/or thunderstorms will be possible, but as of now severe weather is not expected. Lows will dip into the low to mid 60s.
It’ll still be humid Tuesday and Wednesday but mostly sunny skies should prevail with highs in the mid 70s to mid 80s. It’s possible that a few afternoon showers or a thunderstorm may pop. Lows will drop into the upper 50s to low 60s, with clouds building Wednesday night.
A cold front will be tracking towards our region, and move through on Thursday. This front should sweep all of our recent warmth and humidity out to sea.
However, before that happens we’ve got more showers and thunderstorms to move through late Wednesday night and on Thursday (when highs should reach the low 70s to low 80s).
By Thursday night, a much drier air mass will be working into the region on light northwest flow with lows in the 50s.
By Friday morning (and Saturday morning for that matter) we’ll be dealing with cooler temps, and low humidity which will produce a pair of crispy starts to each day.
Highs Friday and Saturday will only climb into the upper 60s to upper 70s with lows in the upper 40s to mid 50s as dry conditions prevail.
This writer will be doing his happy dance for sure. Have a great day!
